Description

The type WP-NC2R-FAID is a First Aid Rescue Cage measuring 1.2m x 2.4m is suitable for use with up to six people and has been designed strictly in accordance with Australian Standard AS 1418.17. Work performed in this cage shall be limited to special tasks of short duration in situations where it is necessary to elevate personnel where it is not practicable to erect scaffolds or use a specially designed device. Integrated fork arm slippers are provided for transport purposes only. The standard finish is Zinc with a safety yellow base painted enamel finish. All Crane Cages are supplied with a unique Load Test Certificate, comprehensive instructions, Risk Control Measure documents, and Work Cover registration.

  • Type WP-NC2R-FAID is not suitable for use in Queensland. For Queensland, model WP-FA-QLD has been designed and registered to comply with the QLD Tower Crane Code of Practice 2017.

• It is a mandatory requirement of AS1418.17 that suspension sling sets are supplied as an integral component of a personnel crane cage. If you are using or are offered a cage without dedicated chains or slings, that cage does not comply with Australian Standards and Design Registration requirements and should not be considered for the use of hoisting personnel
